How to choose a private medical college in West Bengal
Fees are only one part of the decision. Here is the checklist our counsellors run before recommending any private medical college.
Every family asks the same first question — what are the fees? It is the right question, but it is not the only one.
Before we recommend a private medical college we check the hospital bed strength and daily patient footfall, because clinical exposure is what actually makes a doctor. We check the NMC recognition status for the current session, the faculty-to-student ratio, the hostel and mess arrangement, and the internship stipend.
Then we compare the total four-and-a-half-year outflow — tuition, hostel, mess, caution deposit, university charges — instead of the headline annual figure. Two colleges quoting the same annual tuition can differ by several lakh over the full course.
Bring the fee circulars of any two colleges you are considering and we will run this comparison with you, free of charge.
