B.Tech, BCA or B.Pharm — matching the course to the student
Three very different courses that families often weigh against each other. A plain comparison.
B.Tech is a four-year engineering degree with a heavy mathematics load and the widest campus-placement base. BCA is a three-year computer applications degree — lighter entry requirement, quicker to finish, and usually followed by an MCA or a certification to compete for the same software roles. B.Pharm is a four-year regulated pharmacy degree leading to industry, retail pharmacy, clinical research or a government drug-inspector track.
The right answer depends on your Class 12 subjects, your comfort with mathematics, your budget and how soon you need to start earning. Sit with a counsellor for thirty minutes and this decision usually becomes obvious.
